Hue Finder
An interactive digital artscape of community art organized by hue.
This prototype was created initially for our event Electric Toucan to celebrate art of the community using novel interactions.
The Art
Art is collected in png or jpeg format and uploaded to the platform. Pictured below is all the art we received for our last event. These pieces were used to test in the initial version of hue-finder. Hues and colors are calculated and placed as soon as they are added.
Interaction
Hand-tracking, a joystick or a spinner can be used to explore the artscape.
Projection
Made to work with a projector or a monitor - depending on the space available.
